HOA files complaint over Mountain Shadows permit
A homeowners association adjacent to the Mountain Shadows resort in Paradise Valley has filed a complaint against the town claiming its property rights could be violated if the council approves the resort’s proposed special use permit, which is the basis for its redevelopment. Francis Slavin, a real estate attorney who represents Mountain Shadows West, which consists of 59 residences, is contending approval of the proposed permit would diminish the value of the property, in violation of state law.
